whot gear box do u use?

i dus any one know whot box to use on a high power swift?

awd box from a justy weld the diff or get a lsd if ya can find one 1600 awd sedan shafts justy linkage. and clutch/flywheel are also bigger on awd box

how do u go on with prop atatchmant tho? also whot sort of power do they take?
whot soft of power can the full 4wd system take?

you make a blanking plate for were the prop would be flat very easy you put the drive selector fork into fwd and stick it there and bolt it on. the awd boxs can take 300 whp all day happy. the 4wd system requires a fair amount of work to get proper use out of it

end bearin on pinion shaterd and gon threw bel housing cast gear solector on inside snaped and spigot shaft twisted.

here is a run down of waht you need to do a awd box conversion

justy box
justy inner half shaft
awd 1600 drive shafts
justy clutch/flywheel [uprated dmwdave]
rear engine mount adaptor [dmw dave 15 dollars something like that]
justy linkage and clutch cables [cable linkage]


easy as pie

sum how i carnt see the stock box taking the power

they handle it wih ease its the most common option ask on redline they do it all the time with there drag swifts etc the gearset is about the twice the size aswell as the diff dont try to reinvent the wheel

so y do they take so much wen i am brakin fwd ones so easy? even uprated fwd dog boxes!

get a awd box open it up and have a look compare it to a gti box and you will never go back they weigh about twice as much aswell same as 90% of the honda drag boys use stock boxs a diff uprated shafts and 500whp with silly slicks just cause you had a dog box doesent mean it is that much stronger ask garndi andy or swiftmotorsport andy about a dog box swiftmotorsport andy just broke his one all be it for different reasons but never the less very knowledgabe on this subject

carnt make my mind up wether to 4wd it or not how hard is it to get uprater rear diff shafts prop front diff etc if i woz to re shell in to a justy?
