Iv had a fuel problem with my gti, it struggles and wont gain revs passed 4-4.5k especially up hills,  started by testing the pressure and it seemed to drop to 10psi when struggling, and raise to 40psi when i released the pedal. then back to 30-35 psi.



so i changed the gti fuel pump for a 1L one (smaller in size) and it ran perfectly rev'ed all the way and pressure stayed still at 30psi ish, but wudnt start properly like it was fuel starvation, it wud eventually start with the accel  ...</description>

			<description>iv put the ph1 bottom half on already but the bulb holders from ph2 lites dont fit in ph1 rear lenses and it was gettin dark so i put it all bak together half n half, got nowhere 4my number pl8 yet and theres a bracket where it would go on a ph1. is it easy enuf to change or should i just leave it with just the bottom half? i much prefer the look of ph1's and the old tacky bak box had melted the original bumper anyway so had to b changed.</description>

Now, I don't drive one or owned mk2 ph1 or ph2 Gti so I don't know any difference.

I'm hoping somebody can tell me which phase uses F5 ECU and what colour plug should it use?

I have F5 ECU in my shed somewhere and harness I bought has yellow ECU plugs.
<br />
This is for my Turbo project for the future....

I decided to do a full service type thing on it so have ordered a cambelt kit, auxillary belts, fuel filter, oil filter, manifold gasket, waterpump, cv boots and i also needed a inner cv joint. However the person im getting the parts from cant get a inner cv joint from anywhere is this normal are they that rare?

Im Adam from Buckinghamshire, was given a 1992 (K) Swift GS in White by my brother (handed down) to use as my first car, this was over 2 years ago. I still have the Swift as i love it. I now use a Nissan Navara D40 as my every day car but have recently been using the swift more and have decided to convert it to a GTI. 

I have bought a GTI with a supposed 25000 mile engine although the geezer couldnt prove it, the rocker cover still looks reasonable, they seem to chip and loose all  ...</description>
