hi Jack, good to hear from you again. I've seen your swift about, looks a nice one mate! Regarding the meet I was thinking of sunday afternoon in leominster because Ian's traveling down from Shrewsbury and it saves him a few miles. can you make that? regards edd.

Hi,
I'm Miniswift and I'm member of redlinegti, Teamswift, Suzuki4U and 16vMiniclub.
All same user name even with UKswift I was Miniswift, reason...

This is my mk1 Gti with Suzuki alloy wheels.

So, I'm not just using engine only!
Cheers
Atchi

Re: introduce your self
Hello all.
My name's Can. I have owned my 90 gti for over 10 years now. Its become a part of me and i wouldnt have it any other way. Man i love these cars. Yes its a bit tatty now, and yes the doors creek and yes the windows wont wind up properly but boy dose it have soul! 18 years old and still going strong. I have allways dreamed/promised myself that i would one day fix her up like new but lack of funds and expertese (hense fear) has always been stopping me. Well i still have neither but i am seriousley thinking about making a start soon.
I think its great to have a UK based site for like minded people to meet and exchange ideas/wisdom. I have been on Teamswift for years and love the site but its difficult to really feel a part of the comunity when its mainly US/Canada based.
Its nice to think that there are like minded people who share my passion in the UK.
Thanks guys

Hi,
I'm Andy and based in Gloucester, I use my Swift for stage rallying here in the Cotswolds, south west and wales.
We (me and the beasty) always get a result in class and have finished in the top 20 on many occasions, even against WRC cars. Well I did until I cooked the engine on my last event
, however after much talking with Bill Faulkner (the guru when it comes to n/a swift engines) I'm in the process of building a stonking 1400cc engine for the beasty
.
