Bewitched GTi: Heya
Heya steve, its good to see a new forum, theres always plenty of room for more in th suzuki brotherhood.
Id like to say that it would be nice to attract some of th international swift modifiers to the table...in particular th columbian drag racers and th denmark hevily modified street cars.
ill see what i can do by emailling th ones i know of, but yea, there are some very different adaptations of the modifying discipline shown in these countires...always nice to see something fresh
Bewitched Gti, im on Relinegti.com, suzuki-forums,Teamswift..and i once frequented Ukswift....back in th day.
my gti is constantly evolving (im up to my third gti now) ill eventually get one completed the way ive set out to do, but yea, fundage and time constraints have hampered y efforts so far...but id like to think im building something different fromt h rest of th world....a fully chromed enginebay....nice paint, a one off bodykit and a car that well integrated, all th modifications work in unison to improve th basic suzuki design, without losing that 90s GTi flavour...
Thats th plan anyhow
Ive learnt a lot over th years by doing it myself, and ive been advised by some of th best informed people i could find...not to mention stuck up a lot of longlasting frendships along th way
I may never actually meet all th swift owners in person...but i enjoy introducing myself to anyone interested in our little cult car all th same.
If I can pass on any pearls of wisdon, make it a little easier for others (ive done most of my work ALONE) then im happy to oblige....
im no guru, but im working on it
bewitched as im commonly known, or B to friends...
my real name is Steve Cormie.....
Thanks for th invite steve, i look foward to browsing this forum as i have many others.
Attached is a pic of me recently with my daughter, shes a budding mechanic....hopefuklly one day she`ll be steering a nice GTi too....although it`ll be a classic by th time shes old enough to drive

Browse th forum, when ive got "presentable" pics fo my gti (a work in progress...lol)ill post them here for all to see.....

hiya
hi my names Ben ive got a mrk2 phase1 in white, i live live in leominster, Herefordshire so im pretty close to iain j from shrewsbury and Ed from Hereford, maybe we should meet up for a burn down the A49 haha. any way ive had my swift for about a year, the head gasket went a month after i bought it, cost me £1300 in parts to rebuild, im constantly fighting to keep it out of the scrap yard. scared the shell is going to rot from beneath me.
