Re: the new one
I will be changing them at some point for something a bit more wild (maybe do a deal on your 952's) however that would mean another mapping session (£350) which I just can't afford.
i gave it some for the first time today, it's still trying to light up the tyres in 3rd gear at 6000rpm so with the LSD it's a real handfull (torque steer).
I'm competing on Saturday for the 1st time in 18 months, so I'll find out how well it goes then!

thats why i was after the bd`s, i want drivability for everyday stuff but also a bit of lump in the cams for when i want a bit of fun
i didnt even think of the remap, it woud be just over £800 to get the full setup then, thats if you dont change them yourself
but is it worth it? when dus the power start kicking in with the bd`s?
i know my 952 grpas were terible below 4500, puttin garndis chip in the ecu smoothed them out a bit at lower revs but as soon as they came on all hell broke loose
what sort of diff are you using?
plate or a locker type?
good luck with the event mate, im sure you`l have plenty of fun with her

i think you will when you have to buy a new set in a couple of months
they are amazing tyres though, what size are they?
i would keep a proper road set of wheels/tyres for the winter coz iv used a set of 888 over the winter months, lets just say salt reduces grip on a wet road by up to 30%, even more with a semi slick!!
have you got any camber/castor adjustment, i noticed a big difference with those tyres after increasing both angles
