are these the right settings to take with me
just incase-lol
mk 2 phase 1 gti for the record

6 + 1'o' BTDC
at 850 + 50 r/min

thats right mate, dont forget to link the plug up by the n/s susp turret
or the ecu will be changing any adjustment you do

With the Rospen chip which im using, your ment to set the timing to 4deg, but i haven't got round to that yet. I've brought a timing light to do it though
