ARP head and main

Post  Gedis on Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:33 pm

i've did a bit of searching on the web regarding ARP bolts, and found out that ARP doesn't make bolts for G13B engine, BUT BMW 2.5L (M50), 3.0L (S50US) & 3.2L (S52US) inline 6 ARP2000 fit perfectly and a lot of people use them in their G13B's for head studs and mains, though kits for these engines consists of 14 bolts/studs, so you're paying extra for what you won't need and the washers are too big, so you have to use suzuki ones.
Item numbers in ARP 2011 catalog
201-4302 for head studs
201-5000 for mains

you can get these kits of US ebay, would anyone be interested in a group buy? Very Happy

Strange that they would make these and not head bolts Rolling Eyes

so it looks like the group buy is a no then, unless SRD are willing to do a deal?
I'm interested in a set of head and mains and would be interested in a group buy, but unless someone else knows a supplier other than SRD that can do a good deal, I can't see this happening.

Hi,

OK, head bolts are not for G13B but Datsun.
I don't know but you can buy from Andy.
ARP Con-rod bolts are not for G13B either but I have been told they work OK.

If you are getting 6 pot ones, let me know I will buy 4 bolts off you!
So that if I ever go for G10 Turbo project, I will have ARP bolts Laughing !

Cheers

I know I need more.
If I start to build G10 engines, I might just buy myself a set for 6 pot then!

What does it matter as long as it fits?
That's like having an M8 bolt on your Suzuki and refusing to use an M8 nut from a BMW, it's not as if you have to modify anything to make it fit.

About ARP G13B head bolts you could use the www.adaptronic.nl site since they can supply them as well. But if i were you, unless you are going for turbo the Suzuki original ones are just perfect!!
