4 point under brace

i made my prototype brace today, well i modifyed my brace anyway

the x-brace at the back is very close to my ex pipe and i can see trouble if you have a cat fitted so the production ones will have 20mm extra clearance

im only making a small batch, 1st come 1st served
i might do a batch each year, depends on demand
£60 +p+p unpainted in mild steel
i can still do the 2 point for £30

half the money upfront im afraid coz i will have to get material in to do them

Looks good. Im just worried about the weight. Any plans to do it in Alu? Also if you had a bigger exhaust system it looks like it won't clear it.

weight the 4 point brace for me and the 2 point want to know how much they weigh

i will start making them when i have a few orders in, just pm me
i can do ali no problem, but it will cost more for extra material etc
i personally wouldnt want an ali one coz it will be to stiff for me, it dusnt absorb the shock like steel

clearance, im modifying the rear and losing the rear xmember for something else to give an extra 20 mm

as for the weight difference, i wont know until i make them but mine isnt much heavyer than before i added bits

it feels a bit better, not so wobbly over the bumps, but my gti is pretty dam sorted already, might notice it more with less mods

finally finished them at the weekend
they weigh 4.1kg that inc all of the postage box etc so maybe 3.75 kg
you could prob knock another kilo off for ali
£11 for postage
