unless your gonna spend a minimum of £2000 on ecu engine manifold wtc etc to get 170 bhp and no tourqe were as u can put a gti engine in standard ecu with a turbo bolted on and have the same power with more tourqe. and parts are avalible off the shelf and most likely stronger and does the 1.0 haave the same bell houseing as a gti ? thats another issue

the dishitsu motor is turboed from factory we dont have the turboed g10s over here so everything would be from abroud costing more once again

heres a vid look at the mod list then look at the performance almost like a stock gtiand infact the qurter mile times are the same as a stock gti low 16s high 15s

Hi Steve,

G13B wasn't turboed from Suzuki either.
I don't understand why you have to spend £2k?
In teamswift forum, many of them uses MS and basic programme is already made for both 3 pot and 4 pot engines.
1 of forum member has built his engine only using scrap yard finds and he has made over what you are saying for £500 or so.
G series gearbox are all same bell housing.
What I'm trying point out here is that not everyone can get hold of Gti engine in near future.
Gtis are getting very rare as we speak. In 5 years time, Gti might be out of reach to some people. But G10 Swift will be still there. If you want to sell your tuning parts in next 10 years. You should look into G10 engines, too.

In some sprint/hill climb, you have to have 1000cc turbo to stay in a class.
G10 is 63-5Kg and Gti is 90Kg. If you are getting same Bhp. which will be more effective?
same power but lighter car will go faster or shall I say it will imrove power to weight ratio.

Cheers

wouldnt it be easier to turbo an G10 alto engine, 4 cylinder and has fuel injection like this:

Hi,

I would love to. I have been speaking with Madzuki about it.
I'm not sure if they will fit Gti gearbox or not.
Also, I have a spare engine in my garage with ECU, wiring harness, inlet, exhaust, pipe works and so on....
So basically I have everything for me to play with.

Gary, do you want to take cylinder head off and send it to me?
So that I can send it to Madzuki and ask him to mod it to turbo spec?

Cheers
Atchi
