Help on gls to gti conversion

Hey im converting a gls to gti but theres loads of questions i have but il post them on here when i need to ask for help or advice heres a few things....

will the gls drive shafts fit into gti gearbox ?

do i have to change the front hubs to gti to put gti breaks on and do gti drive shafts fit into the gls hubs if i have to use gti ones ?

Gls driveshafts do fit onto a GTI gearbox but do not fit into the gti hubs as the splines are too small.

I don't know if you can swap the gti brakes onto the gls hubs, I just swapped the full lot over then found out driveshafts were different.

By all means try it, I was in a bit of a rush when I did it and there was a reason I didn't try the calipers, was either the bolts holding the caliper on were FT or there was something blindingly obvious but i've slept since then.

ha ok man so much stuff to do to convert it all to gti i dont know what im going to do about the rear anti roll bar, i have one but theres no brackets to hold it onto under the spare wheel thing !

Yea I never gave that a thought and just left it on the one i scrapped... oops. I'm hoping if weather isn't too crap, to start my conversion tonight.

sure am, 1.3 though, not the 3 cylinder

mines the 1.3 8v aswell mate
