Well ive got 4-2-1 janspeed exhaust mani with the full system, lightened flywheel, group a chip, k&n induction and a sr 20 throttle body with bored out inlet and maf but i aint putting the maf on till i get my modded fuelrail bk so it can take the fuel pressure regulator then im gonna get a set of fast road cams and thats about as far as ive thought so far with the semi rebuild 2 my old engine. thinking maybe twin 45webber carbs 1 day when i av the funds. i dont know what the best internals would be 4 that set up or even where 2 get them Sad

u could get higher compression pistons if u plan to stay away from turbos and superchargers.
but will cost more. if u want to rebuild it cheaply then standards the only way.
