Fitting GTI rear brakes to a Justy
I have had loads of PM's about fitting the GTI rear brakes to a Justy, I have been preparing a complete rear end for my Dad & thought some pictures may be useful to put up on the site.
Rear drums

Remove the drum & brake shoes, using a bearing puller separate the hub, then you will notice 4 bolts that hold the rear of the drum to the Justy hub, take them out.

Attach the GTI Caliper bracket to the hub

Then refit the hub & the GTI brakes.
Hope this is useful, I will add some more pics when I come back from my holiday.

Re: Fitting GTI rear brakes to a Justy
To add to this,
I chose to use different bolts to either the long Gti ones or the short Justy ones. I found the GTi bolts were too long and a thread was damaged as it hit the hub behind the mounting hole and the Justy ones were too short to go through the caliper mount and backing plate to fully engage satisfactorily with the hub. I used high tensile cap head bolts. with a spring/split washer.
