55mm Throttle body

55mm Throttle body

I was just wondering, the SR20 TB is used to increase the diameter to 55mm. Can I not just bore the original TB to 55mm and make an appropriate sized flap? Will it have the same effect? Will the TPS stay the same? It would probably be easier and cheaper for me to do it this way.

sr20 is 60mm i thought 55mm is from a almera gti albino i think you can bore standard to 52mm max

sr20 det is 60mm sr20 de is (sunny gti) 55mm thats the one that fits and tps fits
