Jesse,

You can't do it.
If you do it and didn't tell insurance, it will be void.
Be very careful when you do all this mod. This car is racer/rally/track day car.
Jimbo will have Justy/Swift to play with on the road.

Cheers
Atchi

You do save a fair bit of weight but if you have a crash and you dont have a cage theres no protection. When are you going to finish your car atchi are you going to make it to barkston next year?

Now, now Jimbo.
This old man has baby on it's way and extension work to the house.....
I will try to get on with it but I got too many things to do.
I have to ask your dad to come and collect my Mini and ask you boys to finish it for me!

You got few on your plate also!?
Rally car, Space frame Justy mini, G13B Justy Mini estate and your Carry Van.... at least your Justy Gti is finished!

Speak to you soon.

It just looks like a standard one, its only when you measure it you notice the difference.

I know, it was on the car when we got it, the previous owner must have liked the shape or look of it Laughing

Been making slow progress with the car an hour here and an hour there been busy at the garage earning money for the project, all wiring is now fitted and sorted out as when it came it was just a birds nest of wires. All brake lines and fuel lines have been run, The brakes are all fitted and blead through, the bottom ends in with the gearbox just waiting for the head to come back. The gearbox has had oil seals etc replaced tomorrow the shafts will be fitted every part has been stripped down and repainted the rear end is up diff driveshafts hubs etc. 2 dash 10 fittings have been welded on the cam cover and lots of fittings have been turning up in the post. I will post some pictures up tomorrow of the progress
