bottom end wanted
complete gti bottom end in good condition, preferably under 100k but anything considered.

hello mate i have a bottem end that comes with crank new main bearings and is bored for 75.5mm pistons can throw in a set of gti rods all u have to do is get some .5mm oversived pistons block is basically new never run all flat etc also has new oil pump etc painted black

thanks mate. pretty pissed off re built my engine and it lost oil pressure and knackered everything! will get a price on pistons next week and let u no cos i might get my crank re ground, new bearings etc. see which is the cheapest option. is there any chance of a courier cos im fair distance from you!

yea i can post anything mate i posted a whole engine to portugal few weeks back lol
well crank grinding used to be around £100 that was the cheapest i got

these are great if your going to turbo in the future and will still run ok on a n/a motor they have 74.5mm aswell wich is what ya need
im running same make but vitara ones much lower comp in my justy motor when its built and at around £100 for a set you cant go wrong

Any idea what compression you end up with those pistons?
I'm currently planning on Jimny pistons which is apparently about 9:1.

yea its 9.5 in the jimny head think it works out at 9 with the gti head

Just to confirm, those pistons you posted, will also work out to 9:1 in a GTi head?
They are a better quality brand of pistons when compared to the pistons I had eyed up, seen alot of people recommend the same brand Vitara pistons.

i have the same brand vitara pistons alot of hondas recomend them yea im told the jimny pistons will be around 9-1 with a gti head i know for a fact there higher than vitaras vitaras are about 8-1 maybe a tad lower

vitaras are 7. sumthing -1 (depending on dish)
i had my block machine to get to between 8.2~8.4 -1
