Re: Insurence
I had a crash at 18 in my first year of driving, costs me £1900 a year after all the admin fees and hidden charges, almost got 1 year no claims. Now im over 21 and im getting quotes of £1500, only earning £9 a year after tax so thats a big chunk out of any money i earn. Age really does help with insurance and getting a few different driving licenses really helps aswell e.g heavy goods / tanks lol
My gf's dad has pretty much every license going after driving in the army and only pays £160 a year on a 2litre saab convertible

Re: Insurence
I pay 660 a year, fully modifications listed, full comprehensive cover. agreed value of 3k
Only reason its so much is I have no NCB, 21 years of legal driving and always fully insured but the local boys (insurance companies) wont recognise it. should go down next year. \Was lucky with insurance company offerin 1 years NCB for 10 months payment. if the local industry accepted my actual history id pay about 250 fully moded.
Age is all that counts it would seem.
Cheers
