Why don't you convert to a Vauxhall gearbox?
You can almost anything you like then.
I had a few adapter plates that i sold and I'm certain someone kept a drawing of it so more could be made if needed.

Now, now, Dan.
Only person who does that sort of thing is me Embarassed .
I have been too busy to do anything atm!

Jesse,
Send your bits up soon or I won't be able to rebuild your gearbox!

typhoon,

Are you hoping for top end or faster out of corner?
I think there are 3 different FDs.
1300 which is 3.78:1
Gti 4.1:1
993 4.4:1

You will need to get hold of crown wheel and inputshaft to carry out this conversion.
I did this with my mk1 Gti gearbox and I have fitted 3.528:1 for lower revs. But I don't think you can get them with mk2s.

I have heard there are 4.5:1 or 4.7:1 is about but not sure who sell them. With this FD, you will have top speed of 100 max and you will have bleeding ears affraid .

Cheers
Atchi

Hi Atchi,
Didn't want to mention any names invade you were too busy. I think Spiyda has a drawing too, sent my plate to him so he could make a copy.
