Re: reverse inlet
have u thought about leaving the original tb position there and just put a plate over it with vacuum lines if neeeded.
might look neater.
i know ud use 2 manifolds for 1, if u still wanted to weld an original end on. but surely with ur knowledge u can make the same tb face out of 10mm ally and weld it on the other end.

Re: reverse inlet
lol properly, just an idea to make it look nicer, could also be quicker as only 1 end would have to be cut and welded.

Re: reverse inlet
Hi Gary,
If you need inlet manifolds, let me know as I have 3 or 4 of them!
I'm getting more inlet from Scotland as well as engine blocks. I got too many parts and it is time to get rid of few I think.
Oh, I got reground cams with spare engine I bought.
It is supposed to be Piper fast road cams. I heard they will be good for a Turbo setup. I might ask you to mod one of inlet for me so that I can use for a Turbo set up.
Cheers

I have 2 I don't need, but to be fair, you probably only need 1 or 2 as stock if they are going to be done on an exchange basis.

i wouldv said i do have a life away from the swift but i spent most of the day takin apart my 3 cyl
atchi, send one down when you need it done mate
almondo, so your sugesting an inlet with 2 t/b plates and blocking off one end with another plate with vacume tubes in?
not a bad idea if you cant decide what end you want to use and want to spend extra on the hose fittings but the extra time it would take to make up the other bits, time wise it would cost more
this way you keep all of the o/e hose fittings and if you send everything down i can mod the cable bracket to suit your t/b setup
and if anyone wants to send me some free inlet manis im not complaining

Re: reverse inlet
like this, u probably wudnt need hardly any hose fittings if any at all, plus there cheap as chips, but it all adds up i surpose. just thought it wud look better than 2 welds.

iv seen better pics just cba to wade thro pages on redline.
