but its around 8 hour round drive so will have to pass

lighweight! i went norwich to torquay and back twice for spares lol

exhaust manifold without the cat? mine has a cat where the 3 pipes join, ive smashed out the internals but i would think it would have better flow if it wasnt there in the first place as theres a big empty chamber the gasses need to pass through now before entering the exhaust.

the whole of the rear half has been gutted, so if i dont hear anyone askin its getting chucked
all im keeping from that is the rear lights, upper bumper, boot struts, window/boot seals and the boot, but not the spoiler or glass from it
i did find some oe clarion speakers in the crappy plastic ends of the parcel shelf if anyone wants them

im guessing its for the window centre brake light, which is also up for grabs btw
im keeping it as a rolling shell atm so the susp isnt free, yet

Ye!!!! Best one was at work.... bloke in IT told lass in finance that the printer was not working as the flux capacitor is bloke and explained what it looked like....

Silly cow only started looking for it

the whole of the interior is gutted now
i kept all the switches dials heater loom if anyones interested

is ur current gti setup goin in this shell?
or another gti all together?

yeah pretty much
only things im changing to it mech wise, are to the engine and gbox but that wont happen till i take the gti off the road
the main stuff atm will be to the new shell
gona hunt down any rust, there aint much from what iv seen so far, try and work out why swifts always rust in the footwells/ sills and try and sort that, spot weld every seam i can find, make my own cage, strengthen any bits i think will help and mod the rear susp turrets
so lots to do, im in no rush, i rekon il get 1 more mot out of the gti so a couple of years yet

Patch under the passengers side wing normally needs repairing
