Hi,

I have one for sale as well and I drive to Scotland often.
I got to Glasgow and Livingstone so if you are near, we can meet up.

Cheers

I'm about 150 miles north of Glasgow. However I'm down there twice within the next 6wks taking my in-law to the airport and back. Could maybe arrange something.

How much do you want for it?

Defo confirmed., not a GTi box! No extra lug. Is it really a bad thing? I mean 2.5k @ 60mph will provide sweet mpg's lol

Atchi - I'll be in touch when I know dates/times and if the bank balance allows

By all means get one (especially at the prices you have been offered)!! It will transform your car. If you live in a hilly part of the UK the fuel consumption may actually be better. The GTi transmission is optimised for the G13B DOHC.

Hi Chall,

I started to open gearbox just to see what it is like.
Initial feel is not very good.
So I will rebuild it and sell it.
I have G10 gearbox which I can take off all of the good bits from.

Let me know if you are still interested as I will put on ebay if not.

dont take all the good bits of the G10 gearbox thought you were building mine with that Sad

striders sent me new synrhos and bearings just waiting for them to come so i can send you my gearbox and the parts so you can rebuild it with the 4.4 final drive

Hi Jesse,

I won't use bit for your gearbox.
I don't want to sell anything to people if I know it is not up to standard I would like.

I will open it up and see what condition it is like and replace with what I have.
As I have told you, I have a few spares!

Cheers

I think is a 1.3 8v gearbox. Suzuki dealer gives us a gearbox when they move to the new workshop, with this specs... too long for a gti, but maybe with good mpg for a daily swift...

what about mpg u get?

Worked it out., getting roughly 42mpg. However I've been driving pretty canny as still running the engine in. Still pretty good.

Atchi - I'll leave it just now, cheers. I'll be in touch at some point when I know what im doing see if you have one
