What's this do?

Just had an exhaust manifold arrive(thanks Jesse) and I was hoping someone knew what this was for?

Hi Dan,

That will send exhaust gat to inlet manifold.
I think they are used in USA and Canada for emission control. So not important in UK.

Kind of a waste of time now I think about it. It can't draw much gas to warrant a significant drop in emissions and it must make that final exhaust port slightly restricted if a vacuum is drawing gas back in to the engine.

the cultus intake i got had a load of old oil blocking the tube anyway so it was even smaller that it could flow through. im sure i read somewhere it was a stupidly small amount that it reduced emissions by.

im sure the intake draws the exhaust gas through so if urs is a standard normal intake it wudnt make any difference wot so ever to you.
