Cams

anyone know what are good cams, I want my idle to be lumpy Laughing and to pull all the way to about 8500 rpm want to build a beast of a n/a engine fuck turbos, was thinking about getting the piper cam regrinds, the rally ones that are 9mm but i dont know there just pretty cheap

your car would be undriveable at low rpms get ultimate road best of both worlds

i dont care about it being driveable on road just have the idle set higher

its not just about the idle, when your stuck behind someone doin 30 and the cars chuggin down the road it will start to do your head in, 2nd is to short and 3rd is where it gets annoying, and thats with a 4.4 cwp aswell
you will need a decent clutch plate aswel coz of the high rpm pullaways, a cam like that will bog down with to low an rpm

my old cams didnt even kick in to around 5500 rpm and it was like driving a 1.0 under that but when they kicked in they pulled like fuck to redline i loved it

roughly £200-£250 find your local piper dealer but it is an exchange for your old cams and takes time

my fast road cams were a bit like that untill some 1 on here told me 2 advance my inlet cam 1 tooth and that sorted it out quite a bit

not bad mate.

you advance the inlet cam for more torque, you dont need that on stock cams
