1400cc upgrade

Post  expatkiwi on Sun Dec 04, 2011 7:06 am

Ok chaps what's needed.
How big do we overbore to
Pistons,shells etc etc
Anything else you can think of

More power out of th rotary engine was easy. Enlarge inlets and exhaust add more fuel.

Cheers

I think 76.5 dia is the most you can safely go without new liners
Im using 75.5 which gives 1351cc, andy swiftmotorsport is 76, I think thats about 1370

Hi Brian,

You can fit D16 Honda pistons and so on. But correct info should be found link below.

I think you can increase CR, bore it out to 76mm this will make 1370 or there about.
My mate Andy has similar engine with forged custom pistons and it make about 150-ish BHP.

Atchi , is it Andy with the mk2 rally car?
My falconer engine is meant to have 157 but Tbh I seriously doubt it. I have a funny feeling that when the previous owner had the crank re ground they removed some parts.

Hi Brian,

Andy B aka Swiftmotorsports from Gloucester.
He used to come around to my house and take some of my Suzuki Sports items....
Also, some of modified parts like lightened flywheel...

I think he has build his engine himself by asking Bill for his advice.

Cheers
