I'm James, I don't have a gti, but got a little 1.0 swift. Only just passed my test so the insurance would of been abit wild on a gti but i hope to get one in the future.

Hi all i'm Dave from sunny Scunthorpe although i dont own a ssgti at the mo i am back looking i used to be the proud owner of a 96 gti in white it was the best car ive ever owned this was bought in 98 and owned it till 2003 it started with wheel trims then 14" suzuki sport wheels inbetween this was a full magnex twin 2 1/2 janspeed header ssgti chip g force discs all round and braided hoses. it went from double its weight with sound system and all the gubbins to completely stripped out (and i mean completely) the car had 26,000 when i got it it had one lady owner before me just before i got rid i put a set of 16in alloys on. if i get chance i will dig some old pics out the attic Very Happy

Hi mate and welcome nice to see your after a swift main things to look out for is rust under sills, arches and above the windscreen thats in most cases anyway, also because there all getting on abit now it will more than likly be a high miler dnt let that put u off though mines done 130k and still nutting wrong with the engine just check for general wear and tear there are still some nice ones available just got to be patient and pick the right one.
