Hi all, I'm Neil from Stoke, I've got a Mk2 Ph1 GTi that I'm putting back on the road after it's been stood for about 18 months on my drive lol. It's pretty much standard apart from some 14" 5 spoke alloys that I'm currently refurbing, and a K&N kit, but hopefully I'll be able to scrabble some cash together soon to start modding! Evil or Very Mad

Hi guy's

Hello all.
My name in Nuno and i had swift gti's for over years and i loved them so much, But the only thing that i don't like about the swift gtis is that you have to import performance parts into uk.

Hello

Post  SUZUKI ROCKS on Sun Oct 12, 2008 12:32 am

Hi guys.

First up, thanks for setting up such a cool UK based forum. Some of you might have seen me around Teamswift and RedlineGti. Love those sites but its great to have a local hang-out aswell Very Happy

Seems as though i registered her some time ago but must have forgoten all about it cos when i just went to register it didnt let me cos my username was "already in use"! Then i tried to log in and, well i'll be damned!, im already a member! Wink Maybe ive already inroduced myself on here before and forgoten all about it Shocked oh well, hello again if so Embarassed

To be honest, the UK sites kind of confuse me! There was one a while ago that i used to check out, was it uksuzuki.co.uk or something. Then suzuki4u.com now this. Are they all conected? Whatever. This is cool.

Steve, i've seen your avater pic for a while and am trying to figure out wher in london those council flats are. I grew up on the aylsbury estate and it looks alot like that.

Anyway. I own a 90 gti which is like one of the family to me. Have had it around 10 years now. On Wednesday she failed her MOT due to rust. Needs welding and the bloke wants £275 +vat. So i have made a decision that i have had pondering in the back of my mind for years. I have declared her SORN, taken her of road and am going to rebuild her from the ground up! I am shitting myself affraid cos i aint got a clue! First and formost im gonna have to learn how to weld! And then take it from there.

Anyway, thats enough ranting from me. Im sure i will be asking the experts among you for help and advice soon enough so thank you all in advance.

Wish me luck guys

Nice to hear of a car being restored rather than broken. Good luck!

hello folks im BOB!

im an oldie from ukswift.co.uk, also now on suzuki4u, teamswift!!

had the only ever 5 door swift with a DELTA 4 BODYKIT. only reason i know it was the only one as, 1 - the kits are silly, and 2, they only made one 5 door kit! whoop whoop!

i crashed it, broke my neck and all that jazz. was in nuts, redline, banzai, zoo, fhm, maxpower and loads more with it

bought a red gti, sold it.

just bought a white gti - running rich right now, but heres a photo or two
