justy awd turbo project (bit pic heavy)

hi guys thought id post up my almost completed now project for you to put with a user name lol





























and a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOU6gtf9Ivg (thers more on my account) from the weekend the first time its made it to pod ran a 12.94sec at 109.94mph with a not particularly good 60 foot of 2.0sec (this was with the car on a street tune (safe) on 16psi when its tuned on the dyno it will be running 18psi and will be able to lean it out a bit more and advance the timing)

Nice one mate, the AWD has plenty of potential to do better 60ft's... sort out the rear end and 1.5's are very possible.

looks good mate i think ya need some r888s and smaller wheels that will bring them times down are you still on stock rods

yer stcok rods crack tested what would you recomend to do on the rear end to aid 60foots

i use the car for circuits aswel so would cause handling issue but gd fun i spose

Yeah the welded diff can be a handfull on the track, you need to drive very smooth otherwise the rear steps out.... lots of fun Very Happy .

You can always get a spare diff and use the welded one for the drag strip Wink .

would welding the viscus coupling cause handling issues if not were abouts is it actualy mounted i havnt really looked for it yet just wondering about doing it if its a qwick good mod ???

inbeetween the diff and prop quick NO easy NO good Smile YES best bet is to get one thats already been done off of starkeymotorsport there is alot of machining before it gets welded

You have to pull the VC apart (clean it) and machine it down, both halfs... then weld it together.
