adjusting Konis

Post  simswift on Tue Dec 22, 2009 5:34 pm

How exactly do I adjust my koni's (if they are all adjustable). Can you do it on the car?, is there a start position to go from so you know you got them all equal?.
Also does anyone have a preferred setting? ( I want them quite stiff but the roads round my way are rough as $%"@). They are ok now but Id like to have a play and see if I could improve Basketball

Damn wish Id asked before i fitted them. If I jack the car up do you think the shock would be fully extended or will the suspension setup not allow it

the springs will have to come off on the fronts
compress all the way down and turn, you will feel it engage
i think anticlockwise is minus
i have mine a bit softer
2, 1/2 turns from 0 on the front and 3 on the rear
there used to be a pdf of the instructions of their website but that was years ago

thanks, found the write up on the net now Laughing . Think they'll stay as they are for now til I find an excuse to take em off. Just had the car tracked today, had'nt got it done since lowering and it feels much better now

the rears are the easyest to adjust
so if you want a bit more turn in the take them up a notch
