yeah those engines are a pile of wank compared to a turbo'ed gti engine

it looks like its sitting alot futher foward aswell, i bet the handling went down a notch coz of it

Why put a cast iron block in?.

For all the effort they could have put a much better Toyota engine & box in, thinking 1JZ / RWD lol.

The only thing it has going for it now the rest of the car!.

to be honest i think starlets are poo.
kept up with one in my 1.0 ohv with fly-open door!!

I just can't understand this. Surely with the same time, effort and expense you could have turboed a ssgti engine and got a better result?

yes thats right joe lol i was in the metro hot on your heals yes shuja you could have and its alot less work and money to turbo a gti with far better results
