OMP bolt in roll cage

Post  TPhillips on Sun Mar 07, 2010 7:13 pm

I had a go at putting it in today, couldn't work out were it sits or how to get it in properly... does anyone else have one fitted? if so any photos of it fitted and/or advice on fitting it would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Tyrone.

Hello I have one but it's not in the car yet. Do you have all the bolts & weld in foot plates?

Finally got a day off work today, so grabbed a friend who could weld and set about fitting my cage, stripped the car, cleaned off the paint on the cage feet and car, placed the cage in to see fitment etc (had to cut the dash slightly, just the vents), made up the foot plates and got to welding.

I'm leaving the car stripped apart from the door cards and roof lining. I'm pretty happy with quality of the welding he's done, alot better than i could do...

I'll grab a few more photos tomorrow (ran out of gas on the 6th foot...)
