theres still a few bits here and there but it still needs goin over with a wire wheel in the corners so i`l sort it then

the plan is to spray my cultus mani and the cover
its sort of a metalic gray
iv got the proper primer and a high temp laqure, hopefully it wont peel off Very Happy

NICE,

I need to do mine as well.
I had one with red paint but as soon as I bolted down, screw took paint off.
Where did you get high temp paint from?
Are all paint you used high temp, including primer and laqure?

Cheers

I had exactly same problem when i did mine last week the paint just came off round the bolt holes when i bolted it down i need to where to get the paint from. mine came out as a matt finish aswell looks alrite but a gloss finish would look better.

yes all of the products are high temp spray Very Happy
i got the primer and laqure from ebay and the paint from halfords of all places, it came to about £20 all in
a heating engineer came into my work with something that needed modifying painted in the stuff
it looks totaly different without the laqure, matt finish and alot lighter gray
there is 3 coats of primer, 4 coats of gray, baked twice then 3 coats of laqure, and baked again for good messure, but i will be using washers for all of the bolts/nuts so fingers crossed it dusnt ruin the finish
iv got to get some more gray tho coz i forgot to do my plug cover Rolling Eyes

i got the mani from someone on here, it needed some work done and he needed the cash so i got it a fair bit cheaper than the norm Wink
