immobiliser

Post  daymoon on Sat Aug 07, 2010 8:33 pm

What year Gti's came with immobilisers?

I have tried cranking my engine ( installed gti lump now) but it wont spark ?

Also i seem to have one plug left over in the engine bay: two wires one white/blue and another one is blue/yellow?

Any help is great!

Thanks! That makes out lives easier!

The plug i have is on the right hand side of en engine, come out of same loom branch as reverse switch plug and water temperature sensor..

When i put a fuse in the diagnostics slot in the fuse box, i got loads of errors.. first one was 13 and it kept flashing. is it normal or it should have clean memory and show no errors?

yes the springs arrived. i changed one so far... But i need to get the car running first until i do anything else Sad
