jap show finale 2010
Looking like another great day at the pod..
Anyone want to join us????
JapShow Finale - Sunday 3rd October, Santa Pod Raceway
The JapShow Finale is the highlight of the calendar for Japanese car fans, and the absolute barometer by which the scene is judged. Whist most shows are over for the year in October, the JapShow Finale is just getting revved up, and the lights are set to go green for the show on October 3rd 2010!
The event hosts the final round for the HKS Drag Series, and all four classes are still open for contention and to be decided at the JapShow Finale. Just 70 points separates the top 3 drivers in the Street class, so some exciting racing featuring the very fastest modified cars in Europe is guaranteed. See www.JapDragSeries.co.uk for full info on the series and latest points.
The track is also open for Run What Ya Brung, where anyone with a Japanese car or motorbike and a driving licence can take to the track to test their reaction times and their car’s performance. Run What Ya Brung is highly addictive, and shaving tenths of a second off your time can drive a sane man crazy…especially if you have friends in the other lane.
For those who need more than just straight-line thrills, the handling track will be opening once again, and it’s been specially designed to favour small cars that don’t necessarily lend themselves to dragstrip performance. Tight corners will suit agile city cars and drivers who are not afraid to go full-lock and full-throttle simultaneously! The handling track is once again totally FREE to anyone with a full driving licence.
A new addition for another group of dragstrip refugees is the FREE off-road course! Featuring some challenging climbs, lumpy off-camber mud-plugging and dusty drags, this course will suit anyone with Suzuki SJs, Toyota Landcruisers/Hiluxes, Mitsubishi Shoguns/L200s, Nissan Patrols etc.
The drift track is back, with top drifters offering passenger rides to those after a unique thrill, and providing a stunning spectacle of tyre smoking action all day.
For those into more sedate pursuits, the Show Car Paddock once again welcomes owners of classic and modified Japanese cars to show up and shine up, with trophies presented to the top cars of the day.
Back on track, the 270mph Jet Car will provide earth-shaking demo runs, and in the Live Action Arena, stunt shows from Terry Grant and the UKFMX freestyle motocross crew will complete the day’s high-octane action with jaw-dropping stunts high in the air.
The most incredible thing of all about the JapShow Finale is that tickets can be had for just £12 when bought in advance. There simply isn’t a better… or better value… show on the calendar!

Re: jap show finale 2010
Dont have one for the Swift, just got one for the 350z
What would be involved in getting one for the swift, its not looking 100% atm tho which is a shame, it does even have the GTi skirts on it yet. But it does have the important bit.
